Best Dance Film
We are proud to announce that our film MEROPE, directed by Juan Carlos Zaldivar and produced by Winifred Muench and Christel Veraart, has won the Best Dance Film at the 3rd edition of the Music Dance Film Festival Consonance that took place on February 16 and 17, 2024. In June our film will also be shown live in Tbilisi, Georgia. The festival is part of an international project MoviExpa (Los Angeles, CA), distributing independent films Worldwide to the audience, cinemas, channels, and online services.
Congratulations to all the artists who played a vital role in bringing the vision of “Merope” to life, helping to visualize the enchantment of the stars. Their collective efforts and creativity have contributed to the success of this project, and we are grateful for the collaborative spirit that permeated every aspect of the production. We also want to extend our gratitude to the generous support of the Flinn Foundation, the City of Sedona and the Arizona Commission on the Arts.
Music Dance Screenings Film Festival Consonance is a film festival dedicated to music and dance films, animation, and clips. This is a platform for filmmakers, film lovers, industry professionals, and media to connect with each other and showcase their talents and opportunities. A professional jury panel that includes award-winning filmmakers, producers, as well as representatives of distributors, buyers, and online streaming services, also reviews selected works and gives their awards.
The Festival receives their submissions from more than 150 countries and reaches a loyal audience from those countries. They broadcast films on a special channel on their website during the festival days, bringing films an audience worldwide.
